This is general information, not an individual diagnosis or treatment plan. Outcomes vary between people.
Start with the clinical question
If an additional procedure is proposed, ask which finding in your case makes it relevant. Better laboratory measurements, a positive pregnancy test and live birth are different endpoints. The patient group, comparison and reliability of the research matter. Availability at a clinic does not establish personal need.
Genetic tests serve different purposes
PGT-M concerns specific single-gene diseases, PGT-SR structural chromosome rearrangements, and PGT-A chromosome number. Family history and genetic counselling help determine which question is relevant. Routine PGT-A cannot be assumed to increase cumulative live birth for everyone. Sampling and interpretation also have limitations.
Uterine tests and experimental support
Endometrial receptivity testing, immune testing, PRP and other add-ons vary in evidence and purpose; many remain insufficiently supported. Repeated failure does not mean every extra procedure should be combined. Potential harm, additional interventions, cost and delays are part of the decision, alongside possible benefit.
Four useful questions
What outcome is this intended to improve for me? What evidence exists in comparable patients? What are the risks and additional costs? What is the standard plan without it? These questions help match innovation to need. A consultation with Prof. Dr. Mehmet Çolakoğlu offers a setting to discuss options in light of your findings and current evidence.
